Web-Design

After Starting website devlopment back in 1999. I've come a long way in the abilities I had then to what I can do now. Im sure everyone remembers the days of working in low quality html editors with very limited results. Fully functional web-sites were a rare thing back in those days. Many had them mind you, but compared to today there was no where near as many resources and information available to get you started in such a thing. You could download a odd script here and there and do your best to make them work with your application.

Today is a completely different story. Today you can find many different CMS systems frameworks that can save you loads of time not only the devlopment side but on the consistant updating that many sites require.

Working on many sites over there years you tend you get better at it as you go. And my latest sites are designed in the very useful codeigniter framework. Which allows you a lot of flexibility in what your building. You can build it the way you want it rather than download some pre-maid CMS that may be overloaded with additional un-needed features and huge page loading times.

The idea behind what I'm trying to do is build web-sites that will do exactly what you need and use as little server resources as possible. So you're page load fast and your visitors don't sit around waiting for what they need. Coupled with the lastest advances in CSS and xhtml you can be sure your site will not be loaded up with annoying tables. All of the sites I now design will use CSS based layouts, which as well gives you amazing flexibility in where you can place anything you want on your page without worrying about it messing up another section of your page. This not only makes designing cleaner, and easier to update, but it also allows for it look nicer at the same time.

You need to change a page on your site or add new content its as simple as logging into the site as an admin and get on your way. No uploading is ever required to update simple text or links. You can even use some cool HTML tags to get a page to look extra nice coupled with css is magic! Adding pages can be as simple as clicking on a link to add a page, and simply type the text you want on the page! Adding a menu item is just as simple. All without uploading a single file.

If you're sick of doing all the hard work of uploading files on a daily basis, or simply find you're current solution is not up to par. Then consider what I can do for you. If you have any questions about my services please send me an email. I'll be glad to anwser any questions you may have.
